The Taiyuan Garden Nursery Center (formerly known as Chenjiayao Nursery) was established in 1978 and is a subordinate unit of the Taiyuan Garden Bureau in Shanxi Province. It has more than 1000 acres of nursery land, divided into east and west areas, mainly providing seedlings and green seedlings for urban greening in Taiyuan City.

There are more than 40 commonly used and rare seedling varieties, including Sophora japonica, Robinia pseudoacacia, Robinia pseudoacacia, Robinia pseudoacacia, Robinia pseudoacacia, Ginkgo biloba, Magnolia grandiflora, and Magnolia grandiflora. Considering the wide variety of seedlings in the nursery and their different requirements for soil moisture, after a long period of field investigation and measurement, it has been decided to adopt the zoning intelligent irrigation form.

By using soil moisture sensors to intelligently control the zoning of nurseries in different areas, and adding auxiliary systems such as wireless remote control of water pumps, monitoring of reservoir water levels, and monitoring of nursery meteorological information, the entire nursery becomes more modern and intelligent. While achieving precise, water-saving, and energy-saving irrigation, it greatly reduces the labor cost of later maintenance.
